rapunzel's revenge is an ALA Notable Children's Book (and the only graphic novel on that prestigious list, as far as I could tell--what an honor!) and a YALSA Great Graphic Novel for Teens. Yippee! Love those librarians. Wow. I'm just beaming. It's fantastic when as a writer you leave the comfort zone and take a risk and pour lots of love and hope into a book, and then to see it honored by The Wise...wow. I'd like to thank my publisher and my husband, Dean...okay, shutting up.

river secrets is a 2009 YALSA Popular Paperback for Young Adults. Nice! I've learned that Bloomsbury will be releasing a boxed set of the first three books of Bayern in paperback when forest born comes out in hardcover. My first boxed set...if only my mother could see me now. (She can't because she's at her house right now and doesn't have super-sight.) book of a thousand days will also be out in paperback this September and sporting a new cover, which I haven't seen yet. And I just got a hot-off-the-press ARC (advance reading copy) for the actor and the housewife, so those will start popping up here and there. So, two hardcover releases, one paperback release, and one boxed set... 2009 is shaping up to be a crazy year for me. Bring it on, I say. Bring it!
