My publisher is offering highly discounted goose girl ebooks through the end of the month. Most everywhere ebooks are sold, you can get it for $1.99. Too good to be true? Just wait! There's more! ...actually, that's it. There's nothing more. But isn't that enough? What do you people want from me? My blood? No? The $1.99 ebook is enough? Oh okay, cool.

I recently read my first ebook and I have to say I'm not a fan. I work on the computer, so when I read a book, I don't want to look at a screen. I like to read in the tub. I like to feel how many pages are left and flip through and make notes. I like to flip back to the cover art. I like the way books smell. I like having books scattered all over the house. I can see the appeal of having a digial library. Books take up a lot of space. But I'm not won over.

Still, I'm going to buy a digital copy of goose girl. Why not? I'm really excited Bloomsbury is doing this promotion. Spread the word! 2 bucks is cheap. That's a slice of pizza! Ooh, now only if the ebook came with a slice of pizza...
