Now available on DVD and Blu-Ray! In 2009, I began working on a screenplay of austenland with screenwriter Jerusha Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre). Such fun! In 2011, we shot the movie in England, directed by Jerusha and starring an outstanding cast.

The movie premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival to sold out screenings and enthusiastic audiences. Sony Pictures Classics released the movie in select theaters summer 2013. The movie is available for rent/purchase wherever movies are sold.. midnight in austenland, a companion book, is now available in paperback.
